Mission statement:
The Robert E. Simon, Jr. Children’s Center is designed to meet the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of children in a safe, child-oriented environment. The center is a non-profit corporation created to meet the child care needs of the community.
Center philosophy:
Each child is unique. Our child care philosophy accommodates the developmental stages of every child. The center respects each individual and allows for flexibility and choice. Children learn best through organized and free play. We promote and support active, developmental learning through play. We welcome diversity and will support the acquisition of the home language while teaching English in the classroom.
