Camp Hedgehog (formerly Kiddie Kamp): is located at the Kroehler Family YMCA and offers a longer camp day so your child will enjoy more of their favorite camp activities - including camp songs, crafts, team building games, and swimming twice a week in the Kroehler Y warm water, shallow training pool. Plus, your child will participate in fun and exciting in-house field trips. Your child will enjoy individualized attention in small camp groups where our staff to camper ratio is 1:6. Our friendly, experience camp staff will give your child an unforgettable introduction to the camp experience as they help build independence, and socialization skills. Join them and your camper each week at our parent/child participation event to see what Camp Hedgehog is all about. Campers need to bring a healthy snack, sack lunch and non-spill water bottle everyday. Children must be potty trained to attend.
Camp Bear Cub: Camp Bear Cub is ideal for those looking for a traditional, outdoor camp for their preschool and lower elementary age child. Committed to the "Leave No Child Inside" national initiative, your camper will explore the outdoors and learn about the environment. initiative, your camper will enjoy a traditional day camp in one of Naperville's best parks. The ideal location for camp, Greene Valley is equipped with large shade trees, open fields, walking paths and open-air pavilions. For 29 years, the Y has provided campers days filled with outdoor adventures, swimming, team sports, group games, arts & crafts and weeklys field trips. Our energetic
counselors have years of experience and quality training to nsure your child has a great camp experience.
Camp Kodiak: The shady groves and open fields of Greene Valley Forest Preserve is the site of this summer's biggest fun with Camp Kodiak. Each week is activity-packed! Activities are designed to build your teen's independence and leadership skills. They will include cooperative cookout planning, archery, swimming, a weekly
field trip and leadership opportunities with our preschool camp program, Camp Hedgehog. Most importantly, Camp Kodiak forges lasting friendships.
