For over half a century, CED has paved the way for transformative design and research, work that has made a difference in our environment and society. The first school in the country to combine architecture, landscape architecture and planning into a single college, CED similarly views environmental design as inseparable from its social, political, economic, and cultural contexts. The college produces creative and skilled professionals who share the values of sustainability, design excellence, social equity and environmental justice, economic vitality and community engagement.
