Tweens and teens learn the fundamental concepts of algebra and become familiar with its language through activities, games, and explorations guided by the teacher.Campers learn the principles for solving equations. For linear and more advanced equations, campers learn to match symbolic representations with their graphic equivalents. Individually, campers prepare for algebra by refreshing, sharpening, and extending their base of math skills using our proprietary MathTree skill system. Basic skills include ratio, proportion, decimals, fractions, percents, integers, and factoring. Some campers advance to exponents, order of operations, integers, radicals, absolute value, and complex fractions.
